It’s really hard to read Hye Ju´s family members´ mind. Actually, they even seem mindless. Between members is an invisible membrane they cannot touch or feel. Four family members are only characters and they look like unmixable four dots. The name of family is the sole frame and glue compulsively connecting them. Rather than family affection, political dynamics motivates their relationship. Father, as the leader, controls the others. When he violently forceslove, he is even frightening. Each member wears a mask, beneath which is another mask, so they change their faces every now and then. Since situations suddenly change, the mood is bizarre no matter how harmonious they appear. Hysterically watching every motion of the family, viewers cannot relieve tension. This film might be one of the most neurotic imaginations about breakup of a family.
