Synopsis

Office worker Ran Hee is a cinephile who once dreamt of being an independent film director. Several years ago, she had to put an end to her gloriously drafted independent feature film and went off the grid. She heads to a bar to meet her friend Seon Jun who used to make films together. There she bumps into Xing Xing, the starring actress of her flop. Xing Xing still features in independentfilms and builds her career. She is with director Ki, the producer of her upcoming film. Xing Xing suggests that the three sit together. Director Ki is insensitive and crude as if those features represent a true artist. When he begins to talk about Ran Hee’s film, she can’t help but become very sensitive. Each begins to fall into the conversation like a rhythmical ping-pong game. Seon Jun joins too and the complex emotions and relationships are cleared up. There are many “lazy work” that filming characters sitting around drinking and chatting itself can become a film. Each is different. It pulls off the difficult job of capturing the vibrant energy in conversations. Among the films about drinking parties and cinema, it definitely stands out.
