Reporter Sung-min (Ahn Sung-Kee) investigates a case in which a Korean adoptee named Marie-Ellen (Kang Soo-Yeon) is accused of tragic ending her adopted father. Marie-Ellen has lived in Europe since the age of 3 and has suffered through many traumatic experiences. This is complicated by the fact that she starts to suffer from traumatic memory loss.
