Weeekly is composed of seven members born between 2001 and 2005. Their names are: Soojin, Jiyoon, Monday, Soeun, Jaehee, Jihan, Zoa. The oldest member is Soojin (born Dec 12, 2001). The youngest member (maknae) is Zoa (born May 31, 2005). All of the members are Korean.
In 2017, Soojin, Jiyoon, and Soeun participated on JTBC’s show MIXNINE prior to debut. The lineup for Weeekly changed multiple times over the years. Several other girls were part of the pre-debut lineup. Lee Somin and Park Soyeon left the agency in September 2018. Park Haelin and Kim Gaeun left the agency in October 2019.

They are the agency’s second female group after Apink.
June 19, 2017 “LOEN Entertainment” (Now Kakao M Corporation) announced its plans to debut a new female group, the agency created social networks for the new group temporarily known as “LOEN Girls”. It also revealed the faces of three members of the group. Lee Soo Min contestant of PRODUCE 101 and Kpop Star 6, Park So Yeon contestant of PRODUCE 101 and Ran Young.
On September 29 of the same year, it was revealed that some members of the group, now under FAVE Entertainment would participate in the survival program MIXNINE. It concluded on January 26, 2018 with its live finale, where Lee Soo Min was positioned as the second top vote-getter.
On September 1, 2018, the departure of Park So Yeon, Lee Soo Min and Kim Bo Won from the debut project was announced.
Lee Soo Jin, Shin Ji Yoon, Park So Eun and former debut candidates of the group participated in MIXNINE.
Tickets for his three pre-shows sold out in just one minute.
Their first debut album, “We Are”, had the highest sales among girlgroup albums that debuted in 2020, earning them the nickname “Super Rookie”.
Fandom Name Announcement: On August 20, an official poll at the group’s Daum Cafe revealed that the official name of the group’s fandom was “Daileee.”
