- 10.04.17 UP10TION received a Gold Record for breaking 100k sales by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).
- In an interview they said that the songs they would like to sing live again would be “I Wish A Miracle” and “Because”.
- “Habit” was the first ballad they recorded as a group, to be included in the first album “Invitation” some members had to re-record it as it featured their pre-debut vocals.
- Members Jin Hyuk and Woo Shin participated in the survival show PRODUCE X 101. Both of them stood out for their skills and talent and managed to maintain high rankings during the show. In the finale, Woo Shin ranked #2, which allowed him to enter the project group, X1, while Jin Hyuk ranked #11 which, due to the change in the system that season, left him one spot away from entering the group.
- On July 26, T.O.P Media announced that the group would come back in August as 8, without members Woo Shin and Jin Hyuk. The reason is that Woo Shin is promoting with X1 while, after talking with the members, it was agreed that it would be impossible for Jin Hyuk to promote so soon after the end of the show, so he will take a period of rest from the group.
