Before being The Rose, 3 of the members (Do Joon, Ha Joon and Jae Hyung) formed a group in 2015 called “Windfall”.

Before debuting they used to do street shows singing covers and their song “Sorry”.
On August 23, 2017 the debut MV “Sorry” reached 1 million plays on YouTube.
They were involved in a controversy when it was discovered that the MV ‘She’s in the rain’ featured photos belonging to SHINee’s Kim Jong Hyun. It became so serious that the MV was removed from YouTube platform.
On May 23, 2018, on The Rose’s official YouTube channel, an MV Special of “I.L.Y” was released.
