Facts
- N.Flying performed the opening act at CNBLUE’s Bluemoon concert in Jakarta.
- The band’s debut single titled “Basket” which they released in October last year, ranked #2 on the weekly Oricon Indie chart in Japan.
- During episode 7 of Cheongdamdong 111 the band came back from Japan and would perform their showcase at FNC, but due to the lack of practice, the CEO decided to cancel everything including their debut in Korea, due to this Jung Yong Hwa appealed with the CEO and thus gave the possibility to be able to do their showcase again.
- On tvN Cheongdam-dong 111 Choi JongHoon of FTISLAND said “N. Flying is better than us in debut”. Flying is better than us in debut”, CNBLUE nodded and encouraged N.Flying.
- Jaehyun and Kwangjin trained together with CNBLUE when they had not yet made their debut.
- According to Towers Records Japan on January 2, N.Flying’s second single titled “One and Only” reached #1 on the worldwide charts in just one day of release.
- On the Cheongdamdong 111 program, FNC CEO Han Seung Ho revealed that N.Flying would make its debut in Korea in the last week of April 2014.
- At first the leader of the band was Kwangjin but later the position was changed to Seunghyub.
- Although it had been announced that N.Flying would make its debut at the end of April, an unfortunate accident happened in Korea, the Sewol ferry sank, carrying more than 200 high school students, so the whole country was in mourning and the activities in the area of entertainment had to be postponed. There is still no exact date for N.Flying’s debut.
- Even without debuting, N.Flying was confirmed to perform as the Opening Act at “SUMMER SONIC 2014” in Tokyo, one of the most important festivals in Japan, which was to be held on August 17 this year, however, it was cancelled as lead vocalist Seung Hyub suffered a knee injury, and the band’s debut planned for this summer had to be cancelled as well.
- Seunghyub had a collaboration on April 28 with AOA’s Jimin as a sub-unit of the company called “Jimin N J.DON”, with the song “GOD”, which represented a theme about embodying his ideals and making a mark in music by creating comparisons and giving a metaphorically self-centered side.
- On June 19, Seunghyub wrote a letter where he recounted the process of adding a new member to the group. In the letter, he said, “After a long thought, we decided to greet Yoo Hoe Seung as a new member of N.Flying. We often worked with him before his appearance in “PRODUCE 101 season 2″, and the members shared that they wanted to work with him in a team instead of just having musical communications. Yoo Hoe Seung gave us confidence that he can be with us, with energy and passion towards music, and not just for the sake of making a debut. Having a new member after 2 long years might be hard for N.Fia (N.Flying fandom) to accept but our team will go far and we will work hard to present good music.”
- On August 2, in their new video “The real” they revealed new member Hwe Seung who was part of Produce 101 Season 2.
- At the 2017 Winter Olympics the band were ambassadors for the potatoes and even made a song to promote them.
- N.Flying participated in FTISLAND’s Planet bonds tour in different places in Japan as an opening act. During these concerts Hongki sang some songs together with N.Flying such as THE REAL and also performed Still Love You a acapella with HweSeung in a concert. In the same way Hongki said that he hoped N.Flying would become a big hit and jokingly said that he would not lose to them, he also asked the primadonnas to support them. The primadonnas at the last concert of this tour in Tokyo, apart from their yellow FT ISLAND lighsticks also wore red lighsticks and lit them during N.Flying’s performance.
