Crayon Pop is composed of four members born between 1988 and 1990). Their names are: Gummi, Ellin, Choa, and Way. Soyul, one of the original 5 members, left the group in 2017.
The oldest member is Gummi (born Jun 18, 1988). She is also the leader of the group. She was 24 years old when she first debuted with Crayon Pop. The youngest member or maknae is Way (born Jul 12, 1990). She was 22 years old at the time of her debut with the group.

- They have a sub-unit called Strawberry Milk.
- Prior to their debut, they were known as Hurricane Pop.
- Soyul, former member, became a participant in the reality show Miss Back. She is also a member of the project girl group Resonar.
Facts
- Recently the member Gummi signed a contract with another agency but only to continue her career as an actress, this does not mean that she has left the group but only to continue as an actress, therefore she and the other members continue their careers as singers even if they have other activities outside the group. So far they have not announced anything about the member leaving the group.
- Crayon Pop is one of the few K-Pop girl groups that does not have a leader. In an interview they stated that in their group they were all leaders.
- It is not known exactly who is the “Visual” of the group. Both the members, as well as Chrome, have never revealed it, as they all have characteristics to be candidates.
- The group is also called YONG POP by their fans.
- Way and Cho A are twins, which makes Crayon Pop one of the few K-Pop groups to have members who are twins. The other groups are Boyfriend and the duet Tasty.
- They have unveiled and confirmed a duo called Strawberry Milk composed of twins Way and Cho A.
- Although the girls have never attended an awards gala, their Japanese fans organized a mock awards ceremony for them and presented them with a “Best Newcomer” statuette they made for the group.
- The girls of Crayon Pop cried in an interview when they recalled their debut time with “Saturday Night”, as it was unsuccessful, unsuccessful in promotions and ended a month after the promotions started. The girls were inactive for 6 months. They came to think that the group would end (like many groups that do not succeed in their debut). These included iBeats headphones, signed “Bar Bar Bar” CDs, signed “Saturday Night” CDs and the recognizable Crayon Pop outfit in gold.
- MC Kim Gu Ra and the SNL Korea team made a parody of “Bar Bar Bar” under the name Gurayon Pop.
- Crayon Pop signed a contract with Sony Music Entertainment.
- The training period of the Crayon Pop members ranged from 4 years (longest period) to 9 months (shortest period).

- Crayon Pop has been one of the few groups that have achieved promotions in Australia. They were promoting with their songs “Bar Bar Bar”, “Dancing Queen” and “Bing Bing”.

- The song “HERO” had almost no on-stage promotions as it is dedicated to the cause of Korean firefighters and their hard work.
- They were called “popjussi” to their male fans, but the official fandom name is still “Cutie.”
- During Beatles Code 3D the girls commented that originally “Bar Bar Bar” was created for K-much unlike the original version which had a rock style and no “barbarbar” chorus added, the lyrics were changed by the CEO to fit Crayon Pop.
- They had a scandal when a message to fans was posted on the band’s website saying that instead of giving gifts to members, they should deposit money in a bank account to be used for a charitable cause, but although it was a well-intentioned action, they feared it could be misinterpreted. The idea originally came from the company’s CEO who posted the message.
- The concept (clothing) of “Uh-ee” is set in Korean peasants (from the 70’s to the present day), that’s the reason for wearing scarves (for the sun) and baggy suits. This is also the reason why their singing voices sound with a different tone; an old tone, typical of Korean singers from the 70s-80s.
- They made a promotional MV of the song Bing Bing, when the group was called Hurricane Pop. For this reason, a different concept can be seen in the MV and Way is not in it, but Serang appears.
- The k-rock group Royal Pirates, during the “After School Club” program, performed a rock version of “Bar Bar Bar”.
