First of all, we would like to apologize for being late in breaking the news to the concerned fans who heard about the car accident. On January 27, B1A4 had a car accident while on their way to Inje for the ICON concert. It was a sudden accident and the follow up of B1A4 members was the most important problem, so we delayed the official statement until we could get an accurate check from the hospital. We apologize for the delay. At this time B1A4 has completed their medical examinations at a local hospital in Inje and they received a diagnosis of bruises and muscle pain. Currently, they are resting safely after the diagnosis. In the future, WM Entertainment will make every effort to ensure the speedy recovery of its members and put the safety of our artists first. Once again, we would like to apologize to the fans for causing concern and to the audience members who were waiting for B1A4 at the ICON concert.”
- On June 30, WM Entertainment announced the news of Jinyoung and Baro’s departure, stating, “We will respect Jinyoung and Baro’s decisions to want to go their own ways to pursue their dreams. Regarding their decisions to start over on their own, we also sincerely support their new beginnings.”
- Regarding the future of the group, WM Entertainment explained, “We will focus our energy on restructuring B1A4. We will thoroughly discuss the direction of future activities with the members and make a decision. We will give our full support and do our best for the advancement of CNU, Sandeul and Gongchan. We will do even better for all the fans who love and support B1A4 unconditionally as well.”
