• They are known as the Live-Idols (for singing live in all their performances).
• For most BANAS, B1A4 members are like five animals: Jinyoung is a fox, Sandeul is a duck, Baro is a squirrel, CNU is a bear and Gongchan is a cub.
• Before the name of the group was decided, they considered names such as ‘Ace’, ‘Legend’ and ‘Sound’.
• B1A4 is the first rookie group to trend on Twitter before its official debut.
• They are also called “countryside” as the members are from rural areas of South Korea.
• Their fans have an average age between 10 and 25 years old.  
• They held their own concert on December 8 and 9, the 8,000 tickets sold out in 5 minutes, additional tickets were sold, giving a concert for 11,000 people.

• In October, B1A4’s agency announced that all members will take part in a new musical drama December’s Gift, which will be Korea’s first 3D production, about how the members spend their free time or holidays with a college student and his mother, according to the announcement the drama will be aired as part of the “SBS Awards Festival” on Christmas Day.
• B1A4 filmed its first T.V. show in Latin America (08/Nov/15) “Quien Lava Los Trastes” (on Excelsior TV) in Mexico City, the show revolved around an interview, music and traditional Mexican food recipes.
• Announced its first South American tour for February 2016.
• B1A4 was the second Kpop group to visit Puerto Rico.
• They appeared on Cinescape’s Peruvian program ( 20/Feb-716) singing Sweet Girl and talked about their Peruvian fans to which Baro said they were very passionate.

  • B1A4 spoke after all, saying that they were just surprised, and worried about how their fans would feel when they saw the video. That they have received enough apologies from “SNL Korea” staff and Lee Se Young(host).
• In December 2016 B1A4 has made its first participation in KBS Immortal Song with all members, winning in two rounds with a score of 378.
• B1A4 was a guest band at the “One Year-Olympic Games Pyeongchang 2018” (Winter Olympics) Opening Ceremony, singing the opening theme song “We are the champions” at the torch ceremony.[1] B1A4 was a guest band at the opening ceremony.
• B1A4 made a half-time appearance in the K-league: Gwangju FC vs Daegu FC (17/03/04), but GongChan was absent due to a cold with fever that landed him in the hospital.  
• They are the first male Idol’s to be the models to appear on the cover of Woman DongA Magazine (April issue) in 84 years of publication. They were selected as they are considered the Idol’s of the Nation.  
• On January 27, 2018, it was reported that B1A4 was involved in a car accident while they were on their way to the “Icon Conert”, which was held in Pyeongchang; WM Entertainment issued an official statement on the group’s homepage: “Hello, we are WM Entertainment. First of all, we would like to apologize for being late in breaking the news to the concerned fans who heard about the car accident. On January 27, B1A4 had a car accident while on their way to Inje for the ICON concert. It was a sudden accident and the follow up of B1A4 members was the most important problem, so we delayed the official statement until we could get an accurate check from the hospital. We apologize for the delay. At this time B1A4 has completed their medical examinations at a local hospital in Inje and they received a diagnosis of bruises and muscle pain. Currently, they are resting safely after the diagnosis. In the future, WM Entertainment will make every effort to ensure the speedy recovery of its members and put the safety of our artists first. Once again, we would like to apologize to the fans for causing concern and to the audience members who were waiting for B1A4 at the ICON concert.”
• On June 30, WM Entertainment announced the news of Jinyoung and Baro’s departure, stating, “We will respect Jinyoung and Baro’s decisions to want to go their own ways to pursue their dreams. Regarding their decisions to start over on their own, we also sincerely support their new beginnings.”
• Regarding the future of the group, WM Entertainment explained, “We will focus our energy on restructuring B1A4. We will thoroughly discuss the direction of future activities with the members and make a decision. We will give our full support and do our best for the advancement of CNU, Sandeul and Gongchan. We will do even better for all the fans who love and support B1A4 unconditionally as well.”
• The agency concluded, “We would like to sincerely apologize to the fans for worrying them. We ask them to continue to love them as always and bless the members of B1A4 who are facing a new starting line.”
