- Dong Hun, Jun and WOW have known each other for a longer time. They appeared in drama ‘Perseverance Goo Hae Ra’ as an idol group called ‘IMPACT’ together with Kim Minjae. They were very close (Dong Hun and Minjae especially), despite not having formed a trainee group in reality.
- On October 20, 2017 the countdown started with the photo teasers of the debut project “ZER0 PROJECT”.
- Everyone danced at Pentatonix’s concert in Seoul (September 27, 2016) when the group sang ‘Sing’. Jason and WOW on the stage with Lia, and Chan and Dong Hun along with other dancers from 1Million Dance Studio below on the stage. Jun was unable to attend due to performances of his musical.

- The group confessed that they got the choreography for Take Me Higher two days before the shooting of their MV; however, due to scheduling issues they were unable to rehearse together for all four members (Jun , Wow , Byeong Kwan and Donghun) and were only able to do it 4 hours before shooting the MV.
- A.C.E collaborated with French producer and DJ Hcue for the song I Feel So Lucky. The song was released on September 14, 2018. It is a Moombahton track that Hcue revealed has elements of K-pop. Rapper Hcue said, “I was very satisfied with our work. The audio track that A.C.E sent me is so perfect that I barely added anything to it,” and “Not only are they very talented, but they also understood exactly what I was looking for.” He went on to add, “I watched their music video, and I couldn’t help but be in awe of their dancing skills. That greatly influenced the decision to collaborate with them.”
- They hosted for 6 months a Japanese TV show called Kang On Box. In this program they did interviews with idols, introduced music from popular groups, idols reacted to their own MVs and did games typical of variety shows.
- On November 16, 2018 they start with their To Be An ACE world tour through Latin America and USA, starting with Argentina, then Chile and Mexico.

On February 20 an official statement was released by Beat Interactive notifying that the day before at 10pm someone had placed a powerful glue on the vehicle that was near the studio where the boys were practicing and that it had been placed with the full intention of causing an accident. Legal action was taken and the person responsible was arrested. Charges were also brought against the people who created rumors and defamed the boys. As a consequence some of the boys’ activities were suspended and they were placed in psychological treatment.
